BECOME A VOLUNTEER

VOLUNTEERING AT THE FESTIVAL DU LOUP

Le Festival du Loup works thanks to volunteers. We need valiant arms, intelligent heads and above all enthusiasm and good will. Join the team!

ADVANTAGES

High school students can earn the community service hours needed to graduate.

For every 4 hour work period, you will receive a reward voucher worth $10 which can be put towards the purchase of an admission ticket, Festival merchandise (t-shirts, etc.) , or bar products.

Snacks are provided during your work periods.

All volunteers are invited to a thank you brunch during the dismantling of the Festival (Sunday July 16, 2023).

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

Installation and Dismantling Team:
Volunteers are responsible for setting up and taking down various equipment and supplies, including signs, tents, fences, sound systems, chairs, tables, etc.

Goods Team: 
Volunteers are responsible for the sale of all festival merchandise (t-shirts, promotional items, etc.).

Welcoming Team:
Volunteers work at the reception desk in the village and are responsible for providing the public with accurate information about the festival and the region. Volunteers also sell tickets and products, and handling money.

Parade Team :
Help with the tractor parade Saturday morning.

Volunteer Welcome Team :
These people welcome the volunteers, direct them to their work area, indicate the person responsible for the area, provide the jersey, and take care of the snacks.

Food Team :
These volunteers are responsible for serving and clearing the Métis dinner on Saturday evening and the volunteer brunch on Sunday (2 teams). The food team will also be responsible for ensuring that the volunteer area is stocked.

Ticket Office :
Volunteers are responsible for selling admission tickets and controlling access to the site. These people must also be able to provide information about the Festival and the site.

Wolf Auction :
These volunteers take care of the arrangement of the wooden wolves in the park and the pavilion, provide information about the silent auction and guide festival-goers to make an offer using the QR code.

Photography Team :
These volunteers will be in charge of taking photos and videos throughout the day in order to capture the key moments of the activities.

Bar Team:
These people will serve beverages to the public in a safe manner in the music tent, at dinner and during the Grand Hurlement at the Pavilion.

Parking Team :
Volunteers greet festival-goers arriving by car and encourage them to park according to an organized plan.

Kids Corner:
Volunteers welcome kids and ensure the smooth running of the games.

EXPECTACTIONS

Complete the registration form (see below).

Attend a volunteer orientation session on Monday, July 10, 2023.

Arrive at the agreed times - notify the person at the coordination of your area in case of unforeseen events.

Provide a minimum of 4 volunteer hours.

Wear the Festival jersey during volunteering periods. Return the jersey at the end of the work period.

Speak French as much as possible.
